What a phenomenal shot. The B&W really makes the whole thing jump. I tried the demo of Silver Efex and while it produced decent results I'm not sure it was quite worth the money (that said I'm on a color kick right now)

yeah i was blown away by the tool ! i really like it and the other nik filters.
before in never really cared for B/W, but i look at some of my pics different now...
i need to re-do it though and put some detail in the shadows under the eaves of the roof....something i missed first time around.

i'm not a big fan of B/W but after processing this - i've changed my opinion......

Lately I have been shooting in monochrome B&W just to do it. I shot B&W film back a ways and loved it. Depending on what I want, I'll leave the image as is, or diddle with it a little in LR3, but for lots more control, SEP!
