well crystal city ain't that big - maybe 12 bldgs (?) and it's right in the middle of town on the south side of the road - kinda across from the crystal club.

crystal city is a (almost) ghost town about 5 miles up (south) of the town of marble on a horrible 4x4 road. which follows the crystal river. real pretty country, but i would never take my vehicle up that road !
there are a couple of companies in marble that do jeep tours and i know a few people that do the one way thing (up) they charge like $45 and then just get dropped off where-ever you want and spend the day up there then hike out (down)- we do the hike in and out - not bad - long day though - the best light on the mill is 4-5 pm
marble colorado is the town where the stone for the lincoln monument and the tomb of the unknown soloders are made of plus i'm sure alot more blgs in washington d.c. and i'm sure other cities. you can see the quarry up on the hill-side when you pass thru town to head to the road that leads to crystal.

we're having a great fall this year - nice and long and the weather has been great. i'm gonna try to see if we get one more week-end of it. maybe head up to and around rocky mtn nat'l park ? we'll see
i finally got to go your web page. you got alot of way nice shots. i really like your flower pics the best and left a comment on your flower page.

I haven't checked my web page for quite a while. I guess I should check it sometime soon. Going to Ludington Michigan again this Sunday thru Friday. Going to the state park there and hope I don't get to bored with the area to fast. I will be by myself and you know that life is a hell of a lot more fun when it is shared with someone. That to me includes seeing things of beauty in nature. Ludintgon State Park has a lot of shorelines that I am hoping will provide me with plenty of photo opportunities. So anyway I know you understand what I mean about seeing beauty with someone as you do it with your lady all the time. But, as they say, life goes on and so will I. Still wish I had someone who was going with me. If you go to the Rocky Mtns make sure you take plenty of wonderful pictures. The fall colors have started here but not much to look at now. I hope I catch the colors at their peak in Ludington.
