I love the rendering of the bosom, mostly because -regardless of it looking very attractive- a natural look is very hard to pull off!

So is this an on going series with the "soulless" eyed women? I really love the dark color palette and the way you rendered the light on her face it is well done. Do you work from live models or photographic references? I really think you have a wonderful style. The painterly edges work well to give it a frenetic feel. You have a great grasp on how to paint the female face which isn't always easy. It makes one feel uneasy because you have these beautiful women and then those eyes show the darkness inside them. It could also be symbolic or metaphoric of how we can never judge someone just by looks alone. You never know how someone feels behind their outward appearance... again congrats on another successful painting. I would be interested in knowing what programs you are using. Do you use a Wacom Tablet. I would be lost without mine...

i just really enjoy emptiness, blank stares, ect. for some reason, they just appeals to me greatly -- strong expressions to me ruin faces. Β I use photographic reference - for this one in particular VERY loosely though. I would love to be able to use live models, Β but that isn't realistic for me. :3
Also it's fine you didn't notice but in my deviantID it states that I use photoshop, and a medium intuos pro!Β β€

Oh sorry about missing your info that you already had posted. I am still getting used to this place.Β It is kind of overwhelming at first.Β Some of my friends really urged me to join so that I could get my work out into the world.Β
They all know I am sick of being a production artist and want to get back to fine art.
The Wacom is anΒ amazing tool. I don't think I could live without it. However it is also the reason I have chronic nerve damage in my arm so I have to pace myself. I have never painted purely digital like you do. If you don't mind me asking do you work completely in the computer or do you draw pencil sketches first?Β
It is really interesting about what you were saying about the blank stares and what it means to you. Thanks for sharing that. I love how all artists are so unique and different. We all share the love for the medium but approach it completely in our own way. As souls we each see and react to the world so differently and that is what makes it brilliant!

Don't worry, I understand, I've only been active here for about 2 weeks.
I do the sketch with a pencil brush in photoshop! I've never done traditional art in any form, ever, sadly. It's something I'll be meaning to do in the future.
Thank you for showing so much interest! :3 I appreciate it

The green-ish glow just gives it more of horror feel almost, and the showdows are perfect. Ive noticed you add percings in alot of your drawings and it's very interseting to me. Wonderful art!!

also yeah, i dont know why but i always feel the urge to add a piercing, lol. In reality I never notice them.
