I'm intrigued by this image. I find the statement the eyes are the windows to the soul to be so true and when you remove that aspect it really creates this soulless entity. You have this illusion of this beautiful woman who is so full of life but then she isn't.Β What I also find interesting is your use of color is warm and rich which brings such life to the subject and again this contrast to the underlying darkness of those soulless eyes beings chills to the viewer. I almost want to see how it would look with a darker color scheme. I would imagine it would really make the image more sinister but then again it might lose the dynamics of the work is now. Either way I rather enjoy this image. Congrats on a piece well done...
