finished paint and mod job to my ps3 control, fallout style of course!resculpted, painted and decaled

Omg what kind of paint do u use? Does it fade away with all the sweat or heat or idk

i use acrylic spray baints over a primer, then simple acrylic brush paints, it gets a good couple coats of gloss so it doesn't come off or fade.

What did you sculpt with? and how did you stick it amazing work there!

i rough sanded the controller in places then used automotive bodyfiller (bondo), mixed it up and troweled it on, then spent a while with a dremel and sandpaper until I sanded the bondo down to the shape i wanted, then a bit of fine sandpaper and started painting and clear coating

Thank you!! done a few old controllers past couple of months but they never come out as smooth as the factory setting(i used 3 layers of gloss coat), i know its impossible to get the factory setting as it is, but any tip on smoothing is to maximum thanks for he help!!!

yup, thats the plan, working out all the factors at the moment but then going to be making lots of controls in various styles to sell, possibly e commissions at some point

price varies depending on whether I use 'official sony' ps3 controllers or the non-sony ones which are almost a third of the price!
Still ordering different controls to work on at the moment, so shouldn't be long before I start producing custom controls!!

Indeed this would be a fine controller to facilitate your daily dose of Fallout. And I concur with your sentiment towards the buttons, me liking the rad-haz icons.
By the way, how does the controller feel in your hands? Did you use a clear coat for smoothness/paint protection?

testing out different clear coats, they protect the paint fine and i couldn't scratch the paint as hard as i tried, but i want a less shiny one for certain controls
