Description
A daffodil from my yard. They came up so fast, but they didn't last very long. This is an entry for my friend Nikonfinest 's contest. To me, daffodils are not just a flower, but one of the telltale signs of spring. (Though in Oklahoma, it's been spring literally all summer. I've only had to wear a coat a handful of times this year!)

In our garden daffodils last almost from early march to april. One of the first flowers, and around this week they started toΒ cease blooming.

These ones popped up the end of February and died about a week or two later. The sun in Oklahoma can be brutal!
