I found out one of my friends has a pet Green Tree Python. He is my new best snake friend

What a gorgeous shot. He must have been handled quite a bit to be so tame, because green tree pythons can sometimes be quite cantankerous and bite hard. Also, every time I see a green tree python, I remember the book Verdi, by Janell Cannon, which I loved to read as a child.

I have been told that by several people. He was an absolute sweet heart though. He slithered right onto me when I first met him and he curled up very content!
