This is so awesome...We don't see these very often
I have only seen one mockingbird in the wild, it was at Christmas up at my house in Lake Superior Area...
Audubon heard about me having one, and came to visit me, took the photo I had and said it was very rare
to see the Mockingbird that far north...I will see if I can find the photo and post it...

There were a couple of them at the show we do in Texas. This one was right where we were camped at, and would not go away. I was so excited to get a photo of it! I didn't realize they were not up that way. We have a few of them at most of the areas we do our shows at.

The Audubon has a local group way up here in the Lake Superior Area,
and they were the ones who called the Audubon Chapter to come
and see my mockingbird...
I actually had never seen one, thought it was just a beautiful bird I had
overlooked while out in the woods....
I guess I figure if its in my forest, its my bird and actually belongs there....LOL

Ah, nice shot. I miss mockingbirds. Where we used to live in San Jose, CA, we had lots of them. And there were a few times when I got fooled by one!

I hear them all the time and catch glimpses of them, but this was the first one I was able to photograph. They fool me all the time lol!
