Well, very long story short, I ended up with three super young mice. This one is the one that is doing the best so far, the other two are just a tad younger and are having a harder start. I'm hoping they will all pull through though

Two of the three mice ended up dieing. So they were bird food. The third is happily alive and doing well

Yea... I just wish I could find my nouse a buddy, but all the local pet stores only sell female mice, and I am not looking to breed mice

a friend of mine had a pet mouse..loved that little thing..it liked to sit on my shoulder & hide in my hair lol..miss that lil thing..don't even remember it's nameΒ

I had one years ago that I named Mousasaurus Rex. She had eacaped at a pet smart and live in the store for a few weeks before a friend of mine caught her. She was awesome, and I definitely miss her

Very cute. I must admit, even though mice can be kept as pets, I'm not particularly fond of mice in general, despite the fact that tame ones can be friendly. Mostly it's because I jump if one scurries near me, but also because the wild ones are... well... troublesome, to say the least.

The wild ones can definitely be a pain. We constantly have wild mouse issues due to traveling and living in campers. Mice make really great pets though.

Cute little guy, I hope he can make it. He looks old enough he should be able to eat on his own.

This one is the oldest one,Β it seems, of the three. Rick the rodent guy had a mom rat and mom mouse pass away and decided to just give us the babies. The rats were far to young for me to be comfortable raising, but the mice pretty much had their eyes open, except for one that only has one eye open right now. I'm hoping the little one will make it. They are so incredibly cute.

I haven't seen Rick in forever. I use to get rats from him at the reptile shows but with work I haven't been able to get to a show in a long time. I have just been ordering through rodent pro or buying stuff at Roots. I hope the miceΒ do well for you. Rodents can be hard to raise without a mom. They are very cute though.

We still get our rodents from him while we are here. He doesn't ship them though, so we have to use rodent pro out west.
The one mouse will only open one eye, the other seems sealed shut and unhealthy. He is the smaller of the three. He moves around and eats though, so I am hopeful. They at least have each other to help keep them warm and stuff.
