you should apply a shear filter on the rays coming out of epics thing. They seem a bit too mechanic.

no, actually a shear filter woudlnt do it..... knwoing the filters is one thing, knwoing when ato use them is another, and knowing how to use them properly is sumtin ttolay diff all togeather

light rays do not curve unless pulle dby a tremendous gravitational force such as a star or a black hole, what yoru talkigna bout is when energy swirls INTO sumtin, this is not swrilgin into, its bursting out, you got 2 different thigns mixed up

personally i skip the hands on process of lighting and just use brushes, but there are 3-4 technique si use, manual dodge, cloud filter, tree branch stock, and just simple premade brushes
