EDIT ** Fixed the hyper-drive on the falcon
This project has been on my mind for a while now.
I want to come up with a falcon included scene so for now its some tests on setups and mostly taming Vue into what I want.
First thought was to do it on TG2 but the lack of texture support available has stopped that idea cold.
So for now I will continue with this project in vue.
The bad thing about vue its the continuous "out of memory" errors it spits out besides the continuous crashing and slow reacting interface.
Takes quite a bit of patience to sort this problems but once you get your scene it renders it swiftly no problem.
Guys will probably say "you must have a crappy old rig"
Well here is my setup:
Intel Core 2 Duo at 2.4 GHZ
2GB kingston DDR2 Ram
Ati 1800 XT 512 MB
Intel 965LT MOBO
Dual SATA HD 200 GB

Brilliant work on both.
Terrains are done on WM
The setup has 4 terrains, 4 lights 44,331,127 polygons

the only suggestion is maybe some laser beams from tie fighters, that would blow up dust in the fore ground? and maybe some blur on the Falcon. What do you think?

Well even overcast the sun is still shining from the right of the scene, you can see it on the ground, the extra lights are just to bring out the detail in the shadows
