Description Henodus is quite a complex prehistoric creature to make. I usually think the mouth of Henodus is like a 'sucker' as comparable to cleaning catfish due to the perspective view, but apparently is like every reptile's mouth as depicted in Jurassic World the Game for example.

In 2010, I edited a creation from FoxWingDrgn to make a simplified version of Henodus. Somehow FoxWingDrgn has created this wonderfully, using the Icky-o-saur detail parts as part of the feet and he used entirely limbs to form the shell. As a result of this design, the model has the limb parts of the end of its 'shell' flapping up and down humorously when it is moving, as if they are legs. Weird and funny but cool way of manipulating the design. Meanwhile, I have a Ruminanteater mouth part for the head while the 'tail' he has created is a Shellshard with Icky-o-saur as the impression of spines along its tail.

This year in 2017, I remade the Henodus from scratch; actually it was edited from my old Archelon model (which is also made from scratch). Seriously, this took several hours to figure out the new design! To start of with, the shell is very bony and hard as in the case of turtle and tortoise shell reconstructions, so the Knurl Down plate detail parts are the most appropriate choice for their resistance to bend. What concerns me about remaking Henodus is the pattern of the shell as depicted in many reconstructions of Henodus. Two sets of Knurl Downs form the upper part of the shell (carapace); a set of the pair is for the extension beyond the model's limbs and the other set makes a 'hump' along its spine. Both sets are overturned so that the coat colour pattern can be seen on the Knurl Down. Another set of Knurl Down is used for the underside of the shell (plastron). To make the pattern of the edges of the shell different from the rest, several Osteoflippy detail parts are used despite looking like they overlap each other. Like my pterosaur models, the Henodus model has Suctoped feet parts with Shellshard parts for the toes. The tail is also a normal 'limb' with the Icky-o-saur part as its spines. Last but not least, the head is a complete new design but is almost hard to create. A Worrybeak mouth is used and Knurl Down parts form the detail of the square-shaped and broad head. There is also a set of Kertainhorn weapon part located within its mouth to give the impression of its 'single tooth', but take note it is almost hidden from the naked eye. The Occulus eyes are also moved near towards each other on the front of the head as depicted by many restorations. The crystal-like Derma Bark detail part is also used as extra spike detail for its head.
