edubz02 you know that the lighting is off kilter by a tad bit, but I honestly think it looks killer sweet! Almost makes you think there's more to this picture. As if the woman and the raven are awaiting for a battle of dark vs. light. That's just my imagination running away ...
IMO, I wouldn't change anything with this pic.

A nice picture, if you want to improve it, paint her some single hairs, so that her head doesn't look so "soft". She won't look "pasted" then.
And I can't find out what she's doing with her right hand. Reaching ut for the raven might be more interesting. Perhaps you can find a stock with a hand that fits?

ugh.. no tips really... I tried with a tablet once, but it was a cheap one and I wasn't happy at all. So now I'm back to the mouse
I'd try a small brush, a new layer so that I could erase and then just draw some hairs, perhaps with the airbrush-tool. Then I'd give the layer a lower opacity so that the single hairs aren't too strong. and only on the right border of her hair. not too many, so that she doesn't look like a broom
