Ah, I wasn't going to submit this.. because.. it's sappy and crappy cuz I did it at midnight... but I have submitted it. Oops xDTis a moment in Chapter 5, as some of you will know.
No wonder he hates you, Farrere, you've taken away his childhood... but he's going to have to grow up some time, I guess.

This is one of my favorites, both the drawing and the scene it's from. Iggy is such a fascinating character, and I love how you can tell how much it's costing him to be holding back. Great job! (And btw, is it strange that the roses make me think of Scarlet Carsons in V for Vendetta?)

At first I thought he was being stubborn and just really trying not to be sad but... egdfbgfr I remember how sad that scene was in the story and I think you did a really beautiful job illustrating it. <3

I have a song with that name by Plumb. D: I compared them though, and they aren't the same. xD I guess Plumb's version is about a woman watching her boyfriend/husband and how he deals with stuff rather than crying.
Listening to the one by The Cure though, I can connect it, and I never would have associated them with that. T_T; It's weird, having this character you usually think of as happy and then realizing yeah, they have things to be sad about too.

I'm listening to the Plumb song right naow.. it's giving me shivers lol.. aaw, that song would also be true for them - although the song in addition to the video clip remind me really strongly of Regis and Simone, Farrere's parents. Nnnnn I can't wait for an excuse to tell their story in MC ><
And yeah, not realising a character is unhappy is most true for me with Harry, seeing as he puts up such a happy front.

Uh uhm, I fear your wrath if I do not answer speedily - Iggy is 17 here, the woman is Sylvie Raldon, she raised him, Cam, Harry and Xeeva in her orphanage. Farrere is Xeeva's estranged brother, and when he shows up he offers to buy them somewhere to live... so.. Iggy has to leave Sylvie.. and that makes him SAD
