I'm working on this painting of faestock, I used one of these pictures as the reference: faestock.deviantart.com/art/Fa…I still have to do some shading on the hair and the face needs a little more shading too as well as the shoulder and background.
Edit: did the hair, shoulder and background and some last minute color editing.
Edit: messed around with the background some more.. i might do some more work on the hair later as well.

first- love the color choices!!
The layout is very nice as well. Great job rendering the hair- has the right texture to it.
I think the shading is very good as well- got some very nice tones.
I like the simple but textured bg- really makes the char. pop.
Since you mention you may do more work with the hair- have you tried some more darks and a highlight? While I love the hair- it seems to be handled the same where its on the lighter side of the face and the darker side of the face.... I can't do hair this good, so I am not sure. I guess if you can play with it and be able to recover this version of it it may be worth playing around with some.
