oh, thanks a lot! yes they were hand stitched n.n

the way I like to sew is like this one:



I use regular thread, but I use 3 looon pieces of thread at the same time, join them, pass'em tru the needle hole and fold them in half, make a knot.

when I sew the outter lines (eyes, outter lines of pupils, mouth) I use the "technique" at the bottom of this image: (the example at the bottom: [link]

and when I fill the mouth and eyes I sew them in zig zag (regular sew),(just sew to fill spaces, I recomend using only one direction of sewing, vertical works better for mouth, and for the eyes lines around the pupil). I'm trying to find a better way to explain it >-< meanwhile I hope this helps a little

I've done a bit of hand stitching so I do understand when you say one direction, I'm hoping to make one of these for my bf's birthday so just gathering all the information now lol. Thanks so much for taking the time to get back it, it's very much appreciated

I think it will work perfectly you can try it, but just one advice, when you enlarge the pattern, do it taking the corner of the picture (pattern) and then print it or trace it, this way the original shape won't be distorted Good Luck!

I just read your message and tried to clicked on the links, they do work here are you using Explorer or Firefox -Mine is firefox- sometimes IE has many errors, I hope this is the case and you can be able to check the links with firefox if not, all you need is in my scrap gallery ^^ and the first 2 links are just images of commercial slime plush and a drawing of slime and the original pattern is not that good really -I mean the 3rd link- I hope I was helpful Good Luck!!

Thank you so much! I'll ask my friend to take a photo of the old one, she fell in love with it and so I gave it to her...
The new one will be a big Plushie/Bag for a Photoshooting and should also serve as a bag for my Jessica Cosplay (the eternal problem with cosplays and handbags). I'll upload the photos as soon as I've finished it.

By the way, if you don't want to wait for your machine, you can sew it by hand ^^ (but well the machine makes it so much easier ) I don't use it because I haven't learnt how to use it

Normally I do the smaller plushies by hand, but I've got a disease (Carpaltunnel-Syndrom), so I'm not allowed to sew by hand... T_T It's so mean, I'm better and faster with handsewing than with my machine, but for now I need the machine. Because my lefthand sewing is horrible... But my friend is really good at sewing with the machine and she's always fixing hers, so hopefully it should be fixed in a few days.

Yeah, I read some of the manga, but it was a bit perverted. Dragonball the manga is too. There are a lot of perverted things in that. DBZ doesn't have too much of that though. But it's funny, the manga of DB is rated for teens, and the manga of DBZ is for everybody. LOL

hmmm, I just watched the anime I guess it had some things but maybe they weren't that strong I just remember the funny things, I was like 9-10 years old when they played it on TV, it's sad that always has to be some pervert character in mangas.

But yeah, it's funny DBZ (where they are adults) is for everyone, while DB where Goku was a kid is for teens thank god they were focus on battles.
