WOW. This took a looooooong time to finally finish. I believe I had done this in August and I finally finished it today.
Long time no draw secret saturdays huh? Missed Essence?
Okay, about the drawing.
So for those who care, my character Essence has super powers. Whoosh. Now don't be calling her Mary Sue yet, because she can't do everything.
Essence's awesome lightning powers in short form:
Red lightning = Hurt people. Zap.
Green lightning = Hacking some computers and security devices and whatever else.
Yellow lightning = Like an electricity generator. I dunno what to say about it without making it sound overpowering lol.
Ever watch Static Shock? Me neither. But Essence's powers are similar to the main character (whatshisname XD), just split into specific colors.
Soooo try to give me feedback, even if it is bad. I would request critiques, but I has no Premium Membership. Sad face.

LOL. The Static Shock kid's name is Virgil. Useless fun fact of the day. Yah I'm rewatching all my childhood cartoons, hence me getting into the Secret Saturdays again. Not exactly childhood, because SS was only a few years ago, but just cartoons I never really paid attention too...

I love the picture! The lightning powers are pretty sweet, too... Did you make a background story on how she got them yet? Like having some cryptid DNA or something?

I was actually making a background story, but I guess I got stuck. I was trying to keep her as far away from Mary-Sue as possible, but I couldn't really think of a good back story. I was trying not to go with anything too dramatic like a reincarnation of a god or something (not trying to mock anyone, but there are many OCs with that background), so I came up with something along the lines of being hit by lightning and/or a lucid dream LOL.
I also did a fanfiction (which I never completed pfft) back when I thought I could write fanfiction.
But who knows, I might go back to the fandom and do more with my characters.

Heh, I can list three fail OCs RIGHT NOW that I've made without batting an eye.
-Yuki Kinoshita comes in first, as a rabbit/girl hybrid! If you notice, her name just HAPPENS to mean snow, when her powers just HAPPEN to base off of ice!
-Coming very, very, VERY close behind, is Mina, the Shugo Chara OC! She has a TRAGIC life story, involving some random shizz with amnesia and time travel. A total Mary-Sue. ANND she has three Shugo Charas! Just like the main character of the original show! What a coincidence... *sarcasm*
-And then comes my first ever OC. I forgot her name, but I DO remember I created her when I was in around 2nd to 3rd grade. She was a cheap rip-off of Tokyo Mew Mew and Sailor Moon. Going from city to city, defending the world from monsters that eat you and come out of absolutely nowhere!

Lol! What's worse than Mary-Sues is when the creator doesn't realize it! Don't know if it means much, but YOU HAVE MY RESPECT.
Haha, it's funny to me that people STILL name their OCs with Japanese names in a fandom other than anime! I remember reading a Secret Saturdays fanfiction with a girl named Heichan that was half robot after some tragedy that involved her parents being killed by Argost and her brother helping her escape to America from Japan and gaining superpowers and then he died. Guh.
Sorry, but anyways, thankfully for most people it's just a phase.
Something I figured out just recently, was that I unintentionally made my OC the same color palette as Ben 10.

her powers are interesting ! (hope she doesn't hurt me) The drawing is awesome, BUT the mouth is not like in the cartoon. The upper lip should be black or something like that. Well, i don't know if you wanted it to be like that. However, you draw really cool!
