Description
Here are the steps:

1. Draw the basic shapes. I usually start with two circles, then add lines onto the face and a rounded triangle shape for the fur collar.
2. Add ears and facial features. I start with drawing ears, then adding hair on top of it. For the eyes, I kind of just draw an arch.

3. Add extra fur. I add fur to the collar and the sides of the face.

4. Go over everything. Before adding line art, I like to add an extra sketch layer where I just go over everything in detail so on the line art I can focus on using smooth lines instead of attempting to trace my mess of a sketch.

5. Add line art. This is pretty self-explanatory.

6. Add basic color. Usually I just duplicate the line art and use the fill tool to fill it in when I am in a rush.

7. Color the eyes. On this one, I use two separate layers: one for the eye whites and one for the iris. Then, I alpha lock the iris layer and color a little less than half of it (on the top half, not the bottom) with a darker color. I blur that using Gaussian blur, but if you don’t have that then just use a blur tool.

8. Now, I make a new layer and use a lighter color To fill in less than half of the bottom of the iris. I clipping mask that and blur it. Then, I merge it with the rest of the iris and use the darker color in step 7 to draw the pupils. Finally, I use white (on a layer above the line art) and add light to the eyes.
9. First, I create a layer above the base color but below the eyes and lineart. I fill the whole layer with a dark color and use clipping mask. Then, I erase parts that I don’t want shaded.

10. I smudge and blend the shading with an airbrush tool and turn the opacity down.
