PRACTICE.
Really, look at some of MY art.
Thats mouse work there.
MOUSE + PRACTICE = TABLET-LOOKING-WORK.

thats not really true - you can draw with a mouse and it look cool but you can't do special things for example: you can work with pen pressure. if you imprint hard you get a bigger size of your pen or more color. if you work with a mouse you must change your brush size everytime and you can't draw a line with 2 thin ends and a big center. so it's really hard to draw realistic hair with a mouse ...

But thats just a special effect, take off the pen pressure and other things like that and its just like a mouse.
Set it to its most basic stage and you've just got a mouse.
