Like the tutorial says, this is just to help the drawing process along, you can change anything in this to make it your style.

Wow..that's...that's actually pretty dang good.
I mean, you can probably due to add some more detailed coloring, with shades and stuff, but the sketch one is really nice. You could do a lot with it.

I could add shading but shading is more something that takes experience. You have to use logic in order to place shadows in the right place. which is something hard to teach. I just wanted to show the basics.
There are better people to teach shading than I.

Just make sure that you practice your shading though. You're never going to get better if you don't practice.
