When you load brushes from an abr file a dialogue boxs asks: "Replace current brushes with the brushes from [filename].abr?" If you press "OK" instead of "Append" everything in the brush panel will be replaced with the new brushes.

If you have previously saved your brushes as presets you can reload them with the same "Load Brushes" command.
