Brilliant portrait. The way he seems to be leaning into/entering the frame from the side, the fantastic sharp gaze. Your background is fantastic - the way the circular appearance of whatever it is (a pipe, maybe?) seems to give extra framing to his face. Your tones and lighting are perfect also.

The circular curve in the picture is actually half of a hole in the wall. I'm glad you appreciated its effect.

no, in all seriousnesss I see in this picture a talent for capturing facial expressions and evoking from the reader a "I wonder what he's thinking..." That's a lot more than I can say for myself...
