I've been trying to figure out a way to continue concept art for TCotC without all my files from my old computer. I decided something that could be fun and useful was to practice drawing my main boy, Pamu, at different ages -- I've always struggled drawing infants and children, so it was definitely something I needed to practice. Teen Pamu was also fun to figure out.

I'm going to have to draw Pamu at various different ages in TCotC, so it's a good thing I got this out of the way!

Like most kittens, Pamu was a tiny puffball with big baby-blue eyes. The pigment in his eyes slowly came in until he'd fully matured -- I imagine in sapient society, children are only actually considered adults when their eye pigment fully comes in. Most sapients can expect to have their full eye colors in their mid-teens; Pamu here still had a little bit of blue in his eyes in his late teens, though. Adult Pamu still has a bit of a baby face, so it's probably a mix of him being a late bloomer and having kind-of-screwy genetics (royal bloodlines were known for being inbred, after all).

Pamu also has surprisingly puffy ears. It was cute trying to figure out how those would change over time!
