This was my first painting in eons so think of it more as a warm-up. Back to the ol' spiky mountains!

I just wanted to upload at least something so you know that I'm still alive. And I haven't given up on art either, in case you thought I might've! I've been filling my sketchbooks mainly with the intent of getting better at understanding anatomy and drawing people. And it's so difficult. With landscape paintings you can mostly get away with making abstract shapes that don't mean anything, but with people everything has to be painstakingly precise. And because of all that, painting has been on the back burner for quite some time now! Art and drawing, however, are still very much a priority in my life.
