Delightful in a way that gets my mind wondering and dreamscapes opening up to other worlds! Exquisite and timeless!

Reminds me of Kingdom Hearts; the Disney worlds and such.

Wow, just finished learning about Colombus and this reminds me of him proving the world wasn't flat. But damn, this is a whole new level. I get lost in the imagery and concept of this piece hoping that a world like that could be true.

Psh... Columbus proving the earth wasn't flat? If any one person did, it was Aristotle by pointing out that the shadow of the earth cast on the moon during a lunar eclipse was round.
Columbus was a phony in many regards; all he did was bring New World exploration into the mainstream.
Anyway, yeah, nice render. How much of it was custom made?

I personally think the same thing (that he was a phony) but seeing as my studies in history do not advance as far as yours do, I can't really speak my mind in this discussion. So please without further a do I excuse myself from this semi-sophisticated banter.

Oh no it's alright. I just realized that I don't like to let out my 'inner potential' which is why I stay a B student. I mean I could but like every other teenager, I'm lazy and am married to procrastination.

Apart from the render quality (it looks crispy and rather aliased) great concept, really seems to tell a little story, and lovely detailed.
I get the feeling most models in this image are imported to make the scene more interesting and the initial scene being based on a procedural displacement texture, not that this 'feeling' is negative, but it reminds me of how some scene's of mine are completed: you start of with a cool finding (a nice concept, a great material, whatever) and than you add up to the scene.
Anyways, lovely work, hope you get a lot of votes!
And congrats with the DD .
Cheers.

Thats crazy complicated. Isnt this off of the sphere challenge? Where you compose the scene only for this one thing? Wish I could find that site that was doing it. It had some really interesting layouts that people had done (like this).

This reminds me of the computer game Majesty. It's a pretty rad game...this is why it reminds me of your photo, I think: [link]
But this is fantastically done. Looks like you hand created all of these, right down to the little figure on the raft and photographed it. Breathtaking.

This is potentially a brilliant piece but as has been said the anti-aliasing really needs fixing.
