Description
*This is the most difficult macro shot i have ever taken due to the bug's small size, high speed and unpredictable movements! Please forgive me if I can't reply to all your messages but I'd like to thank you all in advance who have added my images to their favorites, my pages to their watch and for all your wonderful compliments. It's a big encouragement, it means so much for me and I truly appreciate it
special thanks to aksdareflection for suggesting it and ^dandelgrosso for featuring it as my first DD

Thank you very much for this great feedback and i'm glad you found it inspiring
I truly believe that any shot could be achieved with your camera as long as you're willing to do it, by the way this shot was captured with a 60mm lens.. which makes it even more difficult, if i ever tried to take a similar shot in the future it will surely be my 100mm

You're very welcome!
I've only been into photography for about two months, but I've learned a ton in that time. One thing that has been fairly difficult however is capturing things in motion. It was intriguing to see a macro shot of a fly in flight...pretty amazing! I recently ordered the 100mm f/2.8 Macro USM lens myself, and hope to get it in the next couple of weeks. I can't wait for it to arrive, as from what I have read, its the ultimate macro lens.

This is unbelievably awesome. I don't doubt that it was difficult; if I hadn't seen this with my own eyes, I wouldn't believe it possible. This is a true show of your talent.

That is amazing! I usually call those "helicopter bees" since they can stop in the air like those tiny bird or as a helicopter. but you did a real great job on this since I know how fast they suddenly move!

I saw one of those for the first time months back...they're the tiniest flies I've ever seen like that...I took hundreds of shots, but they move soo fast, they remind me of mini helicopters
a beautiful shot, love the focusing, colours and details
