oh... I'm used to the blue fire flower since SMB3 was the one I played most back then. I guess they did change it huh? It's ingrained in me to think it's blue lolol, and I did some Mario stuff in pottery class and painted it blue XD.

In Super Mario Bros. 3, the original 8-Bit version, it is blue. And even still, the latest iterations are orange, not red.
