I found a 100 count tower of gel pens. Some are neon, some are glitter, and they only cost twenty bucks. The glittery ones are gorgeous, but they are a challenging medium. The ink takes a long time to dry and is easily smudged. Additionally, multiple coats are required. Many nights were needed.

This drawing was a pain to upload, too. The scanner drowned out the sparkles. So, I had to improvise with a dark room and a flash camera. This ink really is best appreciated with a natural light source.
