Description
December 2016I drew this in a Notes document on my iPad - not exactly the easiest software to use - but a fun challenge.
Dash's character is heavily inspired by the test pilot of her early years, "Tex" Johnston. He came by the nickname of Tex by showing up to fly in a cowboy boots.
When a giant hat presents itself, Dash experiments with his western style.

She did pick a vocal speaker system which was voiced by a southern woman. "Tex" was actually from Kansas though, not Texas. Dash's inflection is less ovbious than a true Texan.

My OC Cruz has yet to have an offical voice. He uses a TTS voice that has no inflection on airband.

Mine also use TTS, but because of their ability to move all parts of their body (their tail, seatbelt, yoke - Anything) they can manipulate the shape of the speaker to change the pitch of their voices.

My species can ONLY control things that are electically connected with the plane such as: IFE systems, Tinting windows, Electrically reclining seats, Toilets etc.

So, do they have a mechanical skeleton of some kind? Is that how they're flexible?

However their fusilage is fully flexible.
My planes only have speakers at the places where IRL planes have them. Hence, besides using airband, they usually have an airband receiver at hand to "talk"

Dash: Did you just pet me? *she raises her head proudly* I'm the workhorse of the jet age, and the pioneer of an era... Not a Labrador retriever.
