Description
- October 2018 -A train! (A Siemens SD-160, to be precise). There's all kinds of fourtunian vehicles, not just planes. I seldom draw them, so this was an exciting experiment. Behold this giant, electric, caterpillar! He's an RTD Light Rail, exploring some open fields south of the Ridgegate station.
I'm participating in my first Inktober, doing the "5k" version, where I post one drawing per week.

I wonder... are there fourtunian ships and buses too?

Yes. If it has passengers or crew, it can be a fortunian. A rare few drones may develop fortunian minds too.

Are all vehicles fortunian? Are there non living planes and vehicles in your world?

They're one in the same. Normal vehicles become fortunians, naturally.

Are all of them animated or it varies?

After a few years, yes, they're all animated.

I wonder... Are there laws for fortunians? Do they follow who's rules?

eightyator In reply to Nobrakes88 [2018-11-11 21:22:25 +0000 UTC]
Yes. All human laws apply; they cannot steal, bribe, maim, or murder. If an aircraft is registered in the United States, it is subject to US law. If an bus is registered in France, it is subject to French law. If a British Airways plane commits a crime in Egypt, it may be tried in Egypt.
A nation may also implement laws specific to fortunians. The fortunian species must constantly advocate for their rights to ensure their fair treatment in the face of humanocentric policies.
Finally, they must abide by the rules their employers put in place. An RTD train must follow RTD policy; a Delta plane must follow Delta policy.
But, since fortunians are new to humanity and new to the legal system, laws are constantly changing. Throughout the 2030s and 2040s, fortunian legislation undergoes constant amendments.

Oh ok. For mine, it is where they are registered. Does not stop a few from importing chewing gum (Singapore bans chewing gum)...

Living planes want to make money, so they do favours for others, as well, SQ does not pay living planes enough...

Trains don't really have limbs, unlike airplanes which can use their wings like arms. This type of train can use their windshield wipers to grasp small items, they may clutch objects between their doors, or they can use the big arm on their back (the one that connects them to the electric cable). When they move around off the track, just imagine a giant inchworm, slowly scooting forward.
