Description
Eileen's assignment was simple. There was a document. It had to be delivered to her contact. Her contact's name? No, she couldn't have that. She would know by the signs. The document? It didn't matter what it related to. She could read it if she wanted to. They couldn't stop her. It was better if she did, in fact. She wouldn't know what it meant. All she needed to understand was that it had to be delivered to her contact. When would her contact arrive? They couldn't say. It could be anytime. Perhaps it was already too late. But they hoped not.
Each morning she wakes up, has breakfast. A hotel breakfast. On their dime. Smokes a cigarette. Stares out the window at the clouds in the mountains.
