Felt so Emotional when I saw those two together and I thought On doing something sad Related.Story. (WARNING THERE ARE SOME SPOILERS)
Its been a Month after the Friendship festival and The invasion of the Storm army And Tempest (now Fizzlepop) now part of twilight's Personal Royal Guard, since Fizzlepop Is now back in Equestria Gavin a Task by Twilight To make new friends. Now Fizzlepop Was Nerves To make friends, Although She Had her two close one since she was a filly before losing her horn, but as she tries to greet someponies, they got scared because of what happen Months Ago. soon as Fizzlepop finally see two familiar face. as she approaches to say hi they notice here and Got scared because They Maybe forgot about her or They only knew what happen months ago and they ran away.
Soon then Fizzlepop Finally Becomes more Heartbroken then Ever and as Twilight came by to see how things are going, but then Fizzlepop just Runs away in tears. the rain started to poor and Twilight continues to find her Personal Royal guard and New Closes best friend Then As Twilight finally finds fizzlepop close to the Forrest in Tears and Crying, Twilight keeps Fizzlepop some company As a Crying Fizzlepop explains the whole story then She Hugs the Princess of friendship Continuing to cry, soon Twilight said It will always take time to have ponies liking you but for now, I'm always there for You.

I could see this as a full fledge story. Slice of life deals and so on. I could see it being a 4 maybe 6 chapter story detailing her trials then her break down. Then leading to some cute alone time and soon showing a finer side of things.
