Description I tried to follow Mathias78's Micro-Macro Tutorial as well as I could here, but I had to change or skip some steps for technical reasons and used a different color palette more reminiscent of CADPAT rather than snow camo. I also exchanged the "ferris wheel" stock image used by Mathias78 with a GIMP generated fractal.

Like the colour choice on this one, has the 'Micro-macro' meister MathiasΒ says be good to see this in a raiforest backdrop!!!
Nice use of a fractal as well, which bit of Gimp produced that, is it from a rainforest picture?

Photosims will follow as soon as my job work allows it. This pattern was created without any real world or photographic stock. There are at least two possibilities to create fractals in GIMP: Either by tracing a picture over a fractal or by rendering a zoomable fractal. Here I rendered a fractal and adjusted the colors via posterizing and recoloring.

Looking very good. I hope you follow up with a PIP test!
