Won me Best in Show at my Senior Art Exhibition

Here's the animation I worked on all fall semester 2011. It's an excerpt from the fourth chapter of my fantasy novel series.
This isn't the ending I had in mind; the original ending was a lot more complicated and definitely longer. With my time limit, though, definitely not feasible. My teacher liked this ending, so I'm fine with it.
There are a million things wrong with it, I know; please don't point them out to me.
I'm much better at animation than I was before, but I just don't have the time to fix the problems right now. Maybe I will later.After Effects Animation

I really, really like how the eyes are almost constantly changing colors. I noticed that right away too, and overall this animation makes me wonder what the full story is because if this is just one short piece then I'm sure the rest is just as amazing.

So from after effects.. you made it into a swf? The only way I know how to fix the sound and animation sync is to pre-load the sound first. Or load the entire thing first but it would need a bit of Flash.

wow, that was very dream-like, i mean, like a dream sequence. i love how the colour of the eyes keep changing. and the motions are fluid. i like the music too, i thought it was off at first, but turns out it wasn't.

I've never seen such a high quality (not pro-studio with sponsors, that is?) handmade animation before. This is really, really amazing!
