Faces are hard. Not to mention that smiling Kylo was incredibly weird to draw.I really liked new Star Wars, Kylo Ren especially. Probably one more drawing with him solo (
) will appear soon.First finished drawing since Lapis. I really haven't drawn a thing until 23 December. It's... three months?

Well, he almost cried too... Honestly, I cannot hate him. Pity him, maybe. From what I read and what could see in the fight scene, killing his father weakened him. Ones on the dark side can gain power from suffering, yet there's still too much light in him. Very interesting and complex villian, can't wait to see what they'll come up with in VIII episode.

I got the sense that Kylo killing his father actually tore him up inside, that he was conflicted and it was really hard to do. It makes me wonder why he'd do it then, maybe he thought it would bring him peace but it did the opposite because he still loved his father or maybe he was basically forced to do it but didn't want to. He wants so much to be like his grandfather but he had good in him too and Anakin wouldn't want his grandson to do what he did.
Personally, I didn't really see anything romantic between them; I think they're going to have a very important relationship but probably not romantic. In fact, they kind of acted like siblings, like when Kylo starts reading Rey's mind and then she started reading his and then he's freaking out because she's in his head.

Knowing what director they chose for VIII episode, it's probably going to be darker than TFA. Similarly, The Emipire Strikes Back is the only movie of original trilogy where bad guys prevail in the end, yet it is considered best SW movie of whole saga. That's why I understand bad feelings about characters completely and hope for an even better movie, as situation we're left at the end of TFA is great starting point for it. After all, one more episode will be left for everything to end, hopefully okay.

Me as well. Too much stress and no inspiration. Actually that's why I went to movie itself without much expectations and excitement. But was nicely surprised because of it and inspiration came back. If you're inspired, then you'll find time, or even sketch in meantime

Actually when I listened Three Days Grace - Painkiller, somehow thInk about Kylo Ren and Han Solo or think about Rey and Kylo Ren.
Oh, I am remember I have ocs, Kida is Jedi, and she fall in love in Sith, he save her... And etc. I actually would like re write this story, I'm still not so good with that. But it would be interesting and romantic hehe <3

Oh, I actually think of them as cousins. Well. Not into incest, however it did happen that I shipped cousins. I was in big denial back then. I don't think I'm gonna draw them like this again, just inspiration stroke me.
In both cases light vs darkness. I have a thing for such kind of dynamics, especially between couple Jedi/Sith (or just characters somehow connected). I started KotOR (always late to the party) and got to know that Bastila and Revan were married (I knew these characters before). I must admit, I like that.
I also had OCs, 8 years ago, so I don't remember much. Mother was a Jedi (quite clumsy one), her beloved and father of children (Sith in the end), son Jedi (few years older), daughter Grey Jedi (luckily took after father's badassery), and surely mother's apprentice went on the dark side... At the time I was fascinated by Jacen Solo's story (which I'm happy made it to the movies in Kylo Ren's character). Now I think of it: 1) Way to much of it were based on story of Skywalkers, I was not very original; 2) Mother's part of story was kind of depressing; 3) I would like to make something better of it. Redrawing characters would be good for start, I think.

Just noticed I wrote cousins part in a confusing way: I don't ship them, I just like dynamics of the two.
I know, I write a lot and it's not necesarilly connected...
I've always had problem with writing stories, I lost interest after a while and never managed to end a single chapter. So I respect those who can. I found it comes easier to me to tell stories through pictures.

Same here... My stories have emptiness and mistakes but it's better for me cause I'm not good in drawing, actually in writing too... Shame... Cause one of my friends is really good with writing...

The longest text I wrote was actually a summary of planned story (circa 1000 words). I managed to finish it only because I wrote it in my native language. My passion burns out quickly. I could be editor, not a writer.
Keep practicing, ask someone else to look for mistakes you may not see, you'll do better with each new story. If your friend writes well, then ask them for help. With drawing, don't hesitate to look for inspiration, use references to learn, even redraw stuff. Take your time. You could write whole chapter, so you've got stronger will than me. You can do it
I don't know what to do about emptiness in story, but I think it makes things easier when you outline everything first, create "skeleton" for it, whole situation (political, historical etc.) and then put characters into it so they could struggle with the world they live in. But that depends on type of fan fiction you're going to write, I guess.

Samym tematem GW zainteresowałam się dopiero w 2007, prequele wychodziły gdy byłam w podstawówce, a wtedy byłam jeszcze zbyt pod wrażeniem sceny z ciałami wujostwa Luke'a, żeby brnąć dalej
