Description
Another animation, this time inspired by firebending-moves. I know the timing and anatomy are off ^^° I try to improve on that.All work done in pencil (the program). Probably my last animation in pencil, it's time to hit flash

It's just a sketch after all, a pose is sketched in a couple of minutes ^^ That hour doesn't include the time I just stare at it and think about what to do next XD

What the hell? This looks great .... your timing is good it's actually the gravity that is off.... Don't forgrt that gravity is acting on the character so he cant really float like that

Yeah that gravity is what I meant with "timing" A kick should be faster, maybe some more fps and additional frames for the slower movements can solve the problem... still such a long way to go

No, less frames of animation will make it go smother. What is really bugging me though is the ending of the kick.
The anatomy is well done.

If I delete some frames or increase the fps, the result in the pacing is similar (except it's smoother with more fps)

what I meant instead of "smoother"(just now realizing I misspelled it) was "faster" because, unless it's a slow motion shot, he's hanging in the air a lot longer than people of earth.
Now that I've that of what's off about the kick is that it stops mid air and awkwardly changes direction. The way he starts the movement is full of power and is very dynamic and it should follow through with it's arc of motion. Did you use anything for reference?

Nah I didn't use any reference. I just did what came into my mind. It's not a big deal anyway, this was a practive and I'm probably not going to work on it any further.
