I tried to make her look like Rose, except older and tipsy XD The guardians are all something between 30 and 50 in my headcanon.
I don't know about you guys but my headcanon Mom is not how Rose thinks she is. Ever since we got to know Roxy I believe that Mom completely overdoes it with presents and ridiculous gestures because she actually loves Rose very much, it's not meant as passive aggressive dares. She bought the golden frame for the scribble because she treasures it a lot! But maybe that's just me loving the shit out of Ro-Lal.
We don't know her fetch modus but since Roxy has Message in the Bottle I gave her the same, it's partly covered by her lab gloves (stylish purple gloves seemed to suit her, I dunno). She doesn't always wear the scarf.
Don't ask me how her hair-swirl works, I don't know myself. It's just an animefied version that's very close to the sprite

Heck, yes! I love this design!
What I especially love about how you drew her and Bro is how much they look like middle-aged versions of Roxy and Dirk (who they pretty much are, albeit alt universe versions).
Although, you might want to adjust the placement of the wristband since the scanner would be blocked down there (not to mention that the whole thing is too far up). =X
As for the hair, that curl looks a little weird there, so I'd suggest either getting rid of it and curling the bang (I see a lot of artists and cosplayers do this), or look up some cosplay pics.

I'll look into the wrist band again. Do you think I should put it above the glove? Or shall I leave the gloves away altogether? I do like having them though, it adds at least a bit of colour.
How long are the wristbands exactly? I headcanoned them as wrist-to-half-of-the-forearm-length, are they actually shorter?
I know! It was my attempt to stay as close as possible to the sprite. The sprite has the curl facing down, although I see most Roxys drawn with an upwards-rolling curl, like the one she has when she's a trickster. It honestly does make more sense hair-wise to have the curl going up. I wouldn't leave it out completely, it's her trademark. I'll sketch some alternatives up

Looking at the sprite, she doesn't seem to be wearing gloves, so I think we can safely ditch them.
As for how long the wristbands are, they should take up as much space on the wrist as how EmptyFeet drew them (I originally drew them shorter in the concept art, but I think Toasty's rendition looks cooler, so I consider that the official length 
I think I've figured out what that curl could be. It's like the upside-down version of what the side-most parts of my bangs do (i.e. curl up like Hetalia's Italy's ahoge). I think with styling, it could hypothetically curl down, but I don't feel like experimenting on my hair.
Anyways, I look forward to seeing your sketches.

Yep, Toasty drew them half-a-forearm-length. It would be handy to have a pattern sheet of the sylladex when it's "unfolded"/the seam is cut. It helps to imagine the markings better in the 3D-space than the rough reference from two angles.

Well, you could always give her wrist-length gloves. But the sleeve looks like it's got some nice buttons on it, so there's still room for a little creativity.

Yeah, that's what I meant (Hetalia was just the easiest example I could think; I don't think it's even possible for single strands to stand out like that) . My bangs actually do something similar to that sometimes (though less often now that they're a little longer and my hair works like Hussnasty mode Jade's).
