Description Re-visted the guardians to make faceless versions + correct Dad's fetch modus and make him less hairy. (thx for the advice, Evionth and Hiro!)
At first I was not too sold on the idea but in the end it didn't even came out looking bad!  It's bold to make them look like that but as canon as you can get.
I kept the cheekbones for the men to make them look not too young + allowed Mom and Bro to have noses in profile, otherwise it would look too weird.

I definitely like this feel better. You did a good job pulling these off in both versions, though! I loves them all!

I kind of almost like this better...  I think maybe a good alternative could be to just have all their eyes shadowed out, traditional anime-style?  You could have it so their noses aren't shaded, like that's a kids-only kind of thing....  Mmm, I dunno.

So just the eyes shadowed out and keeping the mouths? Because honestly no mouth at all looks strange and is probably very weird to animate when they're talking. It's also nice to allow them to have wrinkles and dimples around the mouth to make them look older in my opinion. I'll play around a bit. Everyone has a diffrent opinion on the guardians and it's impossible to please them all X_X but I sure do wish to have a version that most people feel comfortable with! Maybe we can poll this out or something.

Yes, I agree on the noses. I made it for style consitency since I figured Dirk and Roxy will have the kid-nose as well but for the adult versions it looks a little too childish.

Just want to point out that since dialogue and expressions are used for guardians in the script, this option is not feasible. We screenwriters decided long ago that the guardians must have faces and dialogue because it'd make no sense in an anime medium for them not to, in addition to looking very weird. Besides, the only characters who can stay faceless without clashing are the First Guardians, who are as a species supposed to be faceless.

and i have to confess that faceless realistic humans look creepy to me. ._.

Did you receive a copy of the script when you were accepted?

Yeah I figured as much and tbh I'm glad about that, the facelessness was just the perception of the kids after all and having slenderman guardians is kind of strange.

No I didn't receive a script can you send me a copy? (via Skype or note me a link to the dropbox or whatever works best) So I can practice some things that Will come in handy for the actual thing.

Yeah, it's definitely a intended so that the readers will go with the Kids' (unreliable) perceptions and slowly come to their own conclusions as more facts are revealed in the background.

Also, I demand a Horrorstuck AU in which all grown-ups are slenderpeople. >:3

Love the no face version! I know there's a bit of conflict between the different versions, but this feels closer to canon. Keep up the good work!

Awesome. I think I'd prefer versions with faces though in the actual anime though for some reason. I never liked the whole "no face" thing.

It's strange: I like them more without a face. Maybe because I am used to no-face gardians... :/

I am very conflicted, haha. No face is certainly less work to draw but I kinda like having faces too. Hmmm...
