Dude, this is one of the best pieces to grace the pedestal of the DTF. XD It's a nice break from seeing so many stylized goth girl photos taking the spotlight, no offense to the fine photographers out there.
I mean seriously people, this piece proves the point that you don't need to paint a million layers in photoshop, or draw some cutesy big eyed glazed anime characters to win the hearts of other artists. Pieces that are simple, solid and funny as hell can be just as full of merit.

I spent eight weeks working on this piece which has 6 billion layers. I was hooked up to a dialysis machine the whole time.

C'mon, those who fail to see the palpable genius conveyed in this pic... don't seem to have any inclination of the concept of real art. >_<; I guess what I'm saying is... I wish I thought of this myself. XD Lovely work! I love how people get pissed off at it. It's funny reading people's reaction.

My god, DeviantArt seems to be getting worse by the day. First, the Daily Top Favourites is going down the pan and now this makes Daily Deviation. It's got no meaning, it doesn't look good, it's not technically well achieved or anything.
It's just crap. The argument about whether it is art or not should not mean it needs to be brought to the attention of everybody, i'm sure there were plenty of pieces on the day that deserved more attention than this.

I think the cans could be a bit more realistic. Its an odd colour of blue and I think more colour could have been applied.
The perspective on the cans is a bit off and the writing of "Soup" doesnt look like its actually on the wrapper.
I think there should be a shadow too, from the cans, and the lines are too jaggy so need to be antialiased.
The background would look better with a gradient and maybe something in the background.
And the lines could have been straighter (the ones pointing to the talking) and the talking should be in a speechbubble.
Personally I think you could have done better and I will not be adding this to my favourites.
