Description Usually once I upload a photo, I usually come up with the title of the piece right away, as if inspired from my hard work, caught up in the moment.

I admire the bond of brotherhood. This film strengthed that bond. I remember when I first saw Brother Bear back in 2003, it suddenly brought on a newfound love for Disney animated films. This was a seriously underrated film. I consider it a classic.

Here we got Kenai and Koda admiring the beauty of the Northern Lights, or Aurora Borealis as some prefer to call it.

It's been a long time since I've done a Disney fanart, and I had wanted to do a Brother Bear fanart since the moment I saw the film, but struggled with a concept for the longest time. Plus, bear anatomy is HARD to draw! Maybe that's why I don't see many Brother Bear fanarts. I worked on the background myself as well. The Northern Lights were a bit of a challenge. I had an old Brother Bear storybook I bought after the movie came out and looked at the beautiful art in it. Then this just came out of my hands. I thank God for the talent that I'm blessed with.

Enjoy!

This is sweet. Makes me want to be a bear with my own little cub brother.

Nice work, as always.

Yeah, I enjoyed Brother Bear, too, but I have to admit having Phil Collins come in to do the music was a poor move. Take the scene where Kenai explains to Koda what happened to his mother, for instance: a powerful scene by itself, and sticking with an orchestral piece for music (or even leaving music out of it) would've made it perfect. Instead, the story was overridden by one of Collins' pop-music tunes, and I'm afraid that really killed the scene for me.

Unfortunate musical guest star aside, I still think the movie's alright. Of course, for underrated Disney-brand brilliance, I'd have to name The Rescuers Down Under as the top pick in my book.
