Here's another October submission. This idea had been sitting in my head for ages, but I couldn't pull it off successfully until now. It took me almost all evening to come up with a satisfactory way to position the balls and Raptor! I'm pleased with this final result.If you've ever played Darkstalkers, then you'll know this EX Move that Raptor performs on his opponents. Basically, he transforms them into basketballs (minature ball versions of the characters to be exact). Then his pal La Malta transforms into a hoop and Raptor slam dunks them. That's what I've always loved about the Darkstalkers series was these kind of moves. No other fighting game has been so creative. Not even the crap known as Guilty Gear. That series ain't got nothing on this one. In fact, it wishes it could be like Darkstalkers.
So, I have assembled a collection of how all the characters in Darkstalkers look when they've transformed into basketballs. Can you spot a surprise cameo?! This character ain't part of the Darkstalkers cast but the character had to included for the cool factor.... Look hard....and let me know if you see who I'm talking about....

I'm assuming you mean cammy. she is probably one of the best characters from street fighter. I'm surprised she isn't in more of the cross over games with how popular she is.

i see the cameo in Cammy at the top right. and i recognize all the other characters EXCEPT the one smack dab in the middle. the brown one with the 4 spheres on it. I though it might have been huitzel at first, before spying him in the top left, so who is that middle ball?

That's Donovan. His original only has one brown ball, but I figure I'd add 4.

OH SNAP! how could i have forgotten about Donovan! he's only one of my best characters in that game.... *hangs head in shame*

I think Talbain looks a little too much like a cat, but then, his nose flattened out, that's just what can happen, because the nose is the main feature distinguishing dogs from cats.
