I agree, there is never any point to lying or flattery (which in my opinion is a form of lying).

Yes, we can all learn from each other, not only in art but also in life. That's why we should always keep an open mind yet still retain our foundations and beliefs! I know I can learn infinitesimal from you as well. :]

^_^ glad you understand plus more , I know there are people are this site who think they are better then most people ,including me most probably anyway.
I dont really care though I love my skills as they are, okay I like to improve a bit more but if I was to improve my skills greatly would I turn into a snob and think my skills are better then anyone elses.

If that becomes a result then I dont want my skills to improve greatly, I have many watchers that is a fact, but all the watchers have different skills of levels and not one do I think my skills are better .
What is the point, answer there is not a point, I rather teach people and get better that way then any other.

Plus I like my watchers since are different ages they respect you differently some common all the time and some just add favorites in their folders, I guess having young watchers can also help alot.
They seem to respect you more, I got one that sends me smiles all the time bless her and I got two young ones that have made special folders for my Realm Monsters. So we all need respect from everyone of all ages.

Oh yes, there are many people, unfortunately, on this site that believe they are better than most (if not everyone else). It's people like that who don't make it very far- or if they do, it's for all the wrong reasons.

Amen! I don't hate my style and abilities but EVERYONE has room for improvement- no matter how good you are. So it's only natural that we want get better at what we do. But it's really the journey that matters, not the destination; so people have to learn to enjoy and live the journey to it's fullest- not stay dead set on the destination alone to where they are blind to everything else.

I agree, we learn more from communicating and work with each other. Instead of trying to make ourselves better THAN everyone- we should be trying to make ourselves better WITH everyone!

Yes, in the end it's always you get respect if you first GIVE respect. I'm so glad that you have this incredible outlook. More people need to look at life like that.

Well there is one thing I like to know these so called flamers who I call cowards, what do they get from flaming people, seriously what?
They think by being a flamer/coward they are better then the user who got flamed, I got flamed yesterday for one of my drawings, but i replayed back and told her to shut up and I blocked her from my page.

What is worse she is a newbie with no pictures or anything, grand start.
I have learnt so many thing about myself and drawing styles just being on this site and I have meant so many nice people, okay I know I will get some more flamers but I dont care.

I guess the best thing about us humans is we learn from each others lifes and paths, some will never admit it, but its the same with animals they learn from each other.
I look at life as much as possible if I dont I just regret, thats why I'm trying to learn as much as possible, its got its down sides but that is my choice and nobody elses.

Indeed, those that take pleasure in knocking others down are in fact the lowest of them all. It is usually because they don't feel good about themselves (or TOO good about themselves) that they have to make others look bad so they can feel or look better.

I have no tolerance for individuals like that, on the internet or elsewhere. I've had... I believe three total "flame acts" for the entirety of my being here. Two of them I replied back and asked them why they had been so foolish as to do that. Both of those replied back and apologized, saying that they didn't mean it at the time and they were upset about something else- and just ended up taking it out on me. The third one apparently did it to multiple other people and never replied back. He (I'm assuming it was a he from his profile) simply became banned and never returned.

A new comer did it, eh? Sounds to me like a bogus account that was created JUST to flame others. :\ Not only can I not believe someone would want to go through all of that trouble just to flame but to waste their TIME doing it? Then again, those kind of people don't have lives anyway.

Indeed, and one way we learn from each other is, unfortunately, from anothers' mistakes. In a sense (even though I admit it does sound negative), when we mess up we can actually make others' lives better if we use it as a life lesson instead of a completely failure.

That reminds me of another phrase I read about this same subject that was "Failing Forward"; learning from our mistakes such that our lives progress. The only time we stop progressing is when we stop trying entirely.

thanks alot, you know you remind me alot like somebody else, Dargon1 talks like you do, honest, not a fool and talk sense. I give you his account, he is a old person but he is very wise and open minded.

Well it is true we must learn our mistakes, sometimes I guess its only the way forward. Like you said about people flaming and talking crap to you, I know what its like in my private life. I have somebody said stuff to me that has made me very upset indeed.
I get more angry then sad, my rage is stronger then my sorrow, but she was hurting inside although she will never admit, probably because she to proud or to much of a coward. I hate cowards the most.

I shall visit your gallery soon and comment on some of your wonderful art. Thanks so much for the comment and again understanding, we must understand each other then we can understand the world we live in.

Indeed, I am the same way! I never cry, I never get sad- rather I have a horrible temper that I've somehow learned to control over the years. I've always gotten furious instead of sorrowful. But, luckily, I generally have my temper under control. XD

Yes, cowards are quite annoying. You just want to smack them upside the head and say "Get a grip!". However, there is only ONE personality type that I can NOT get a long with. See, I can tolerate the other personalities. No problem. But the conceited personality I can not deal with effectively without utterly losing my temper upon them. Luckily, I haven't had to directly deal with someone like that for very long so I haven't ever flat-out attacked anyone yet, haha.

I hate the conceited personality, I want to do more than smacking them, that is for sure. I hate cowards a lot, I swear I'm going to lose my temper so much this year, I have so much hate inside me towards one certain person.
I did allow her to walk over me to many times, I admit that but no more, I'm going to tell her what I think, only if she starts, I'm not starting, because I'm not being the bad guy here.

I'm general a happy person with ups and downs, but I feel though my emotions are battling each other at times. Well one thing for sure that I be shouting at a best friend.

The problem with me, to many people that are so called best friends have let me down, as soon as they are bored or find someone else, they leave me and soon forget about me, well so how it feels in my heart.

I got one friend who still calls her a best friend, now she is going out with my bro she has forgotten me, and she mentioned she are still best friends the other week , I could of screamed at her but somehow I kept it in. Next time I wont.

I believe that you will feel much better if you talk with that person. You don't have to be nice-nice to them, just straight forward. Tell them what you need to say but try not to take anything out on them unless they diliberately give you a reason to (be a jerk to you or mean or what not). :] That way they will understand where you are coming from and you don't have to hold back your feelings anymore. Also, it will either make or break the relationship. If it breaks it, just let the relationship go as it has been bringing you too much grief.

Ah, that's okay. It happens. Just got to learn from it and move on. We are all going to have bad days and we have to allow ourselves to! We're human! As long as we can move forward from it, it's normal.

I'm very sorry to hear about best friends who have done that to you. I've had that happen before too and it truly does hurt. It feels like they only wanted to be friends with you if it was convient to them- then they move on. I'm a person that believes that no matter what, Friends are friends for life. I hate losing friends or getting far out of contact. I've been feeling that for the past three years when I changed schools from the one almost all of my friends and I attended. Yes, I have new friends now but I want to keep my old friends too. :[

Ouch, well, like a said. Tell her what you feel! Tell her that you feel forgotten and you want to know if she really means it when she says she still sees you as a best friend. You never know, it could be all one big misunderstanding. :]
