Description This is somewhat of a follow-up to "Washed Away" [link] where that was more about stripping away, this is about rebirth, igniting passion/energy. Water...Fire...

Lemme get this straight - you're nude paintings are "conservative"?? Not! More lifelike or detailed maybe, but not conservative. Anyway, if you want to try something different you always can (no one has to know) but I think you're doing just fine as is!

very flamey...

hehee, no really this is good, it would have been so tempting to make the flames a bit more like the flames painted on a hot rod. this is toned down to just the right temp yet it still gets the point across...

makes me think you should consider doing a "earth, wind and fire" series or "Fire, Water, Water, Ice" series... something like that.

just a thought...

Thanks for the comment, I appreciate that you look at my paintings too.

Once this one came about I also thought of adding "earth" or "ice". We'll see how it goes. For now I like the contrast of water and fire.

Oh and when I told my dad it's "flamey" he said "is that a word?" - well it is now!

and if the earth or ice one takes a while to work out i will understand. these things take time.
