Description
Flags of Democratic, Communist, Fascist, and Monarchistic America.Yes, there is a typo. It's not supposed to say "Unites Socialist States of America," it's supposed to say "United Socialist States of America."

For some reason, I picture the US being like a collection of duchys, principalities or so on based on wealth for a monarch. What do you think?

I thought the United Kingdom of America would be clever because it's a play on the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland.

I'd think that, with the states' rights thing, it'd be more of a German Empire-style Federal Monarchy - except since no one state is dominant in America, they would truly be decentralized.

That would make sense, with states like New York, California, and Texas acting as sorts of Prussias, with total dominance over the smaller, less powerful surrounding states.

But then again, there would be many of them?

Given the fact that the union would be composed of 50 Duchies, I imagine that there would also be some regional powers, such as Virginia and Florida. Each region would have its own powers, with only a few dominating the entire nation.
