I have to agree with Big0Jack, it does look like the GDI from Command And Conquer, but only in colour and sort of general shape. The design of the mek is different though.
Nice contrast of the sand and the sky as well. Tis a very nice pic.

Have you ever considered working as a Conceptual Design Artist for any animations? I am currently seeking those whom leap though Mech and Beast art, You however do not leap, You Soar! I have multiple Mech designs in rough draft from another Conceptual Artist, However he lacks the skills to bring the Mech's into color and life.
