Description
This is the T-28 US Tank. Picture was taken at the Patton tank museum in Kentucky. This is the largest tank produced by the US. It was designed for WWII.You really have to see it to believe how massive it is. It is like a real life video game boss.

Pretty nice picture but if I recall correctly you don't write this tank with a dash. Because the T-28 was a soviet medium tank. This is the T28. Correct me if I'm wrong here.

sounds like the US were nearly as stupid as teh germans to build such heavy tanks (German Maus-Tank Weight 200 metric tons (220.5 short tons))
compared to the T-28 US Tank (Weight 95 short tons (86.2 metric tons))

Not quite, we didn't sink nearly as much time and effort into our ridiculously huge tanks as the Germans. (I'm pretty sure only two of these were ever built, and they never saw combat.) Then again, we had A LOT more resources to piss away than the Germans could have dreamed of, so maybe we were nearly as stupid and just didn't suffer the consequences of it as much.

Very much influanced by the armoured guns of the German support vehicals of the day.
Love to visit that place but unfortunately Kentucky is not on my list of near future visits.

Looks a bit like the strumgeschutz, probably based on it I would suspect.

that thing was supposed to break though the german fortifications with its main gun, i believe, too bad it was made ready in june of 45, too late for the war.
The main gun has a german style dispersal system at its end, i wonder if the original blueprint of that gun was based on 88mm
