I used to have this toy too and I loved it to death! He had a set of blueprints to hold in his hands, and every time he hit a wall or obstruction, he's roll back, take a quick look around, then continue on another direction. I should try to track these down on ebay. I have every other toy from my childhood.

He was part of the TOMY series of robots, like the omnibots.
btw, he has a little secret place in his head that not many people knew about.

Cool, I remember the head compartment! I seem to remember it being tough to get open though. I also seem to remember there being a slot to store his blueprints in.
