Altough Game Freak pretty much ripped off Yo-kai Watch with the "living-creature-that-helps-you-during-your-adventure" concept, I like this idea a lot!
I think they were somehow inspired by smartphones too, considering the future launch of Pokemon Go.
My only hope is that this Rotom won't be too annoying in the game.

Haha that further proves that Pokemon and Yokai Watch are indeed against each other 
I actually thought about the AI system they used in Pokemon Comaster app game though, they had a lot of dialogue and played important parts in the story!

Yea, I feel like it would be the perfect companion, since it could talk for you (As the player always seems to be pretty much mute for immersion purposes) or just be one of those sarcastic partner characters you can refer to anytime (Like minda in twilight princess). And it looks like it would be great for pokemon Amie too!
