I decided to join Inktober again this year. Normally I would wait to post these in groups but I like this one enough to post it separately.This little kitty floats around my head a lot but doesn't have a name or story yet. I guess she's in limbo but she doesn't seem to mind.
I'm considering selling a few slots of these to help pay for kitten food if anyone is interested? Probably Β£10 a slot with P&P on top (if you want the original).

Thanks! lol well I haven't decided for sure if I'll sell any slots anyway or how much if I do. Maybe just Β£5 because I'm not sure if they'll all be this nice... they're kinda experimental after all.

The original pair are doing well and growing like topsy.
It's a bit of a saga. When we found the first kittens in the garage we suspected the mother cat was in the middle of moving them and had other kittens because she didn't hang around, but there was no way to find out where they were. My brother pretty much went house to house asking if anyone knew anything, or if mummy cat was owned, and no one knew anything other then people thought the mummy cat might have an owner who moved away. Anyway, last weekend my mum was visiting my brother and one of the neighbours came up really upset because there was a mother cat and kittens behind his house and his neighbours were complaining about "all these kittens" (two) and saying they were going to poison them (he had phoned up the RSPCA and CPL trying to get someone to trap them, but no one was interested basically). Sooo they went out and managed to grab one of the kittens (they've been living on this overgrown bramble covered bank that is basically a rubbish dump) by basically almost stepping on him, and my brother then brought a cat trap and caught the mum on... Tuesday I think, and then there was only one kitten left. Mum and I spent a whole day digging though everything trying to find it and tried using mum as a lure to get it to come into the trap (also kitten calls and food, basically everything. lol) and finally she got hungry enough to be caught! So now we have 4 kittens and a mummy cat... who looks barely older then 9 months herself.. but mummy cat already has a home on account of being beautiful, and the first two were already claimed, so there's only two that I need to find somewhere.

oh wow. Poor mum cat, glad they all got saved though... disgusting that people threatened to poison them.. ugh.Β
Typical of the RSPCA and CPL though sadly. It took 3 weeks for the RSPCA to get out to the person i got my Lexi from who threatened to drown the kittens and get rid of the mother.. obviously all traces were gone by the time they decided to turn up and couldn't do anything, i'm just thankful that Lexi and 3 others were saved out of the litter of 8 Β ... god knows what happened to the rest of them

I just have no time for the RSPCA. I can't think of a single time where they didn't let me down. No wait, there was one time they actually picked up a rabbit I found the same day. Of course the guy taking the call didn't speak English and didn't know what a "white rabbit" was, but I guess you can't have everything. The CPL I have more time for because it's mostly volunteers and it depends on the area what they're like, but I've still had a few experiences. It just annoys me so much though that both organisations are about reducing unwanted animals, and here's someone who's saying "hey, there's a stray cat here having kittens that in a few years is going the cause of a big feral cat population if we don't stop it and I know EXACTLY where she and her kittens are" and they aren't interested. They don't even offer to lend in a cage to try to trap them when there's someone right there willing to help. Yet they would be the first to decry the other people's method for getting rid of them or (in a few years) that if someone had just neutered their pet there wouldn't be such a problem now. Nipping problems in the bud is the best way of dealing with them! Oh, and guess what, I contacted all my local shelters about possibly taking them (NOT my first choice, but looking at options since I can't find anyone. x.x) and basically no one will take them. The RSPCA only takes dogs and the CPL only with an appointment. Way to encourage people not to dump animals.

...Though actually she seems to be a kind of eternal kitten so it's probably just something mischievous, and not out right evil.
