Description
This is based on the Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess just after Midna rescues Link and you head up the big spiral staircase. (Encase you didn't guess.)It always seemed impossible to me for a wolf to cross a rope but Link proved that not only was I wrong but they could jump and turn on one too! So I drew this comic to illustrate the possible problems he would have come up against. I mean think about it the stairs have worn away yet the rope is still strong enough to hold the weight of a fully grown wolf?
It's good to get our own back on Midna as well! (we all know Link wanted to even if he didn't realise it at the time.) There must have been a better staircase (how else did the Moblins get Link down there?) but she chose that one. That'll teach her, or not.
If any of you are worried about Link's safety, don't worry, there's about three inches of water at the bottom!

First, I drew this long ago when I did not have a very good grip on canine anatomy (not that Wolf link has particually good canine anatomy in any case).

*shugs* I don't see a problem with using offical artwork as your colour pallet. Besides the eyes are still yellow in the game, albet extreamly pale, and I think that's more due to reflection/shine then to the actual colour.

as for my theory on the popularity, I don't think it has anything to do with your writing or drawing skills. but this one is a bit harder to read, and it doesn't pop out quite as much from the thumbnail since the colors are more muted.
I actually think it's funnier, but the masses are quite whimsical that way.

Thanks, yeah I supose that's it, but I think I found it a little anoying at the time because I spent a lot more time on this one then the other... and I felt it deserved more attention. But that is the way things are..

I can understand your frusteration. I've had 5-minute sketches get more attention than my 10-hour projects...
the fans are so fickle that way...
